Cat Fox

Technical Director

Cat joins New Frontier Soccer with 10 years professional coaching experience in the game across 3 different countries.

Cat played competitively in England before moving into coaching. Cat was scouted to join Leicester City’s Center of Excellence at the age of 11 where she stayed until joining the Senior Women’s Team. Cat's dependable performances at right fullback culminated in her selection for the England National Youth Squad. Her first call up was at the age of 15. Cat juggled school and sport and earned a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Having completed her studies, Cat took an opportunity to move to the United States and work at Northwind Soccer Club (Chicago) as team coach and technical trainer.

“The club was in its infancy when I joined. We grew over the years in size and quality, created jobs for professional coaches and provided fantastic playing opportunities for kids in the community. I stayed at the club for 7 years, eventually progressing to the role of Director of Coaching. It was an amazing time. The coaches, the players and the families made the experience what it was. I miss those guys a ton”.

Cat’s work at Northwind Soccer Club did not go unnoticed and she was offered a role at Chicago Fire Juniors (MLS). Cat was announced as Girls Director of Coaching in June 2017. Cat oversaw all aspects of programing for female players at the club. Cat also guided both the U17 and U15 team to Presidents Cup State Titles. Due to personal circumstances, Cat had to return to England in Nov 2018.

“I was heartbroken to have to leave the Fire. I felt like we had only just gotten started. I learned a lot of from senior members of staff at the club and we had a great support team working to ensure players got the best experiences possible”.

Having moved back to England, Cat began working at Leicester City Football Club (EPL) where she served as a Lead Development Center Coach and Scout. Essentially, ensuring players of Academy standard were identified, recruited, and transitioned into the Academy.

“It was great for me to work with male players. I had not done this for some time, and It was good for my development as a coach. The energy and speed these guys were playing with was phenomenal. Sessions were so competitive and dynamic”.

"When I learned of the opportunity at New Frontier Soccer, I was excited to put my stamp on a program that I can be proud of. I am passionate about providing the best possible start to the games future players. I believe our player centered program will provide an unrivalled experience for young players".
