ADPL- HIGH PERFORMANCE
Where Alberta’s Top Player’s Compete and Grow
Welcome to Our High Performance Program
Welcome to the High Performance Program page of New Frontier Soccer Club! Our mission is to help players realize their full potential through advanced training and competition, preparing them for the next opportunity, whether it's college soccer or beyond.
National Youth Club License
As a National Youth Club License holder, New Frontier is recognized as one of the highest achieving organizations from across Canada, demonstrating exemplary standards of governance, administration, infrastructure, and technical programming. Achieving the license, also provides our players the opportunity to participate in the highest level of competition in Canada; the Canada Soccer Player Development Program - APDL.
APDL League
The Alberta Player Development League (APDL) serves as the premier youth soccer league in the province, bringing together top-tier players for best-on best competition. Outdoor league play is 11v11 format, indoor league play is 9v9 format. There are built in schedule breaks to allow for travel and tournament play.
Team Entry and Coaches
In September 2025, New Frontier will enter it’s first teams into the league at the 2012 age groups for both male and female teams. Coach Brendan O’Connell will Head Coach our 2012 Boys team and Cat Fox will Coach our 2012 Girls team.
APDL Team Tryouts
Tryouts for our male and female 2012 teams will take place in August 2025. We are committed to providing a fair and thorough evaluation process for all players. During tryouts, we will assess each player's technical and tactical abilities, as well as their social/emotional traits, and overall application to the game.
