Clint Dunford

Grassroots Director

Clint has dedicated over two decades to the growth and development of soccer in Alberta, serving as a player, coach, and administrator. He holds a CSA Children's Diploma, CSA C Diploma, and is currently pursuing his CONCACAF B Diploma.

A product of Alberta’s soccer system, Clint began his playing career in Okotoks before advancing to Tier 1 competition in Calgary. His playing journey included representing Alberta at Canada Soccer Youth Nationals and competing against top-tier semi-professional youth teams in Germany and Brazil on club trips.

Clint brings extensive administrative experience to the sport, having served as Tournament and Event Coordinator for the Calgary Minor Soccer Association for over four years. In this role, he played a key part in organizing the 2017 Canada Soccer Toyota National Championships U15 Cup in Calgary as the Local Organizing Committee Chair.

As a Coach, Clint has contributed to the development of young athletes across the province. He has worked with the Vancouver Whitecaps Southern Alberta Academy Centre and served as an Assistant Coach for the 2024 U15 Alberta South Whitecaps FC Girls Prospects team. He was also an Assistant Coach for the GU19 team that secured gold at the 2023 North American Indigenous Games.

Most recently, Clint joined the Mount Royal University Women’s Soccer program as an Assistant Coach.
