Congratulations Cat – Alberta Soccer Physical Literacy Coach of The Year

We are delighted to announce that our very own Foundation Phase Lead, Cat Fox, has been recognized by the Alberta Soccer Technical Committee for her amazing work here in Calgary.

This award is presented to a Trained Coach who is committed to LTPD Stages 1, 2 and 3 (Active Start, FUNdamentals or Learn to Train) and directs his/her program with sportsmanship and within the principles of the Long-Term Player Development plan – Alberta Soccer

Cat is a game changer when it comes to Foundation Phase Coaching. Teaching our young players to master movements skills in order to master the ball. Cat’s curriculum allows players to practice their ‘Ball, Brain and Body’ skills through fun and competitive games. Players can’t wait for their next practice!

“I am so pleased to be receiving this award. It’s a real team effort and I share it with all our staff at New Frontier. We have great coaches who have really bought into the club philosophy and they execute every day on the field. Thank you to Alberta Soccer for recognizing our work”.

- Cat Fox, Foundation Phase Lead

Our staff will be celebrating with Cat at the Alberta Soccer Awards Banquet on Feb 26.
