New Frontier Soccer Club Earns Canada Soccer’s National Youth Club License: A Major Milestone

New Frontier Soccer Club is excited to announce that we have officially been awarded the prestigious Canada Soccer National Youth Club License. This recognition is a major step forward in the club’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional development opportunities for its players.

The National Youth Club License is part of Canada Soccer’s Club Licensing Program, designed to reward the highest achieving youth organizations across the country. To earn this designation, clubs must meet Canada Soccer’s rigorous standards in areas such as governance, administration, player development, and technical programming, all while aligning with the Canada Soccer Player Development Pathway.

For New Frontier Soccer Club, this is a significant achievement that highlights our strong commitment to developing well-rounded athletes. The club’s operational practices are aligned with the best standards in the country, ensuring players have access to optimal coaching and a comprehensive approach to their physical, mental, technical, tactical, and social/emotional development.

One of the key benefits of this license is the opportunity for New Frontier players to participate in the Alberta Player Development League (APDL). The APDL is the top youth soccer league in the province, providing players with the chance to compete at the highest level of youth soccer in Alberta. The club will enter a male and female 2012 team to the league for the 2025-2026 season beginning in September. Coach Brendan O’Connell will Head Coach our 2012 male team. Cat Fox will Head Coach our 2012 female team.
