Winter Soccer Camp - A Huge Hit!

Our Winter Soccer Camp, held from December 27 to 29 at the Shane Holmes Soccer Centre, was an overwhelming success! Not only did we see a remarkable turnout, but we are also thrilled to announce that the camp was completely sold out! The response from our community has been incredible, and we are proud to have provided young players with the opportunity to elevate their game during this action-packed, skill-building event.

Focused on Skill Development and Growth

Our camp curriculum covered critical areas such as 1v1 attacking, advanced receiving, and ball striking, all aimed at developing players core abilities. In addition to technical training, we partnered with Coliseum Athletics to offer a unique focus on speed and agility. The team from Coliseum Athletics brought specialized activities each day to improve players' quickness, coordination, and mobility—key elements in outmaneuvering opponents and reacting under pressure.

Talented Alumni Returning to Coach

We were thrilled to have some talented New Frontier alumni back in town to help coach at the camp. Madden Asante, currently at Vancouver Whitecaps FC (REX), and who captained Canada’s U15 National Team to a bronze medal finish at the CONCACAF U15 Championships, shared her experience with our campers.

Additionally, Sydney Wathuta, who just signed a professional contract with the Colorado Rapids and was the 16th overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft, returned to work with the next generation of soccer stars. Sydney’s success story added an extra level of excitement and motivation!

Unsung Heroes

A huge thank you to all the coaches for their time, effort, and dedication, as well as the admin staff whose hard work behind the scenes made this camp possible. We couldn't have done it without you!
